The Digital IXUS 200 IS features an ultra wide-angle 24mm lens, 5x optical zoom and the 3 inch PureColor II Touch LCD screen. Canon’s optical Image Stabilizer delivers blur-free results throughout the zoom range while the 12.1 megapixels CCD captures a wealth of fine detail. When shooting, Touch AF enables you to track focus on a subject simply by touching the screen, and easily selectable icons allow changes to the shooting mode, flash settings and exposure. By simply flicking and tilting the camera, Active Display lets you cycle through images, start and stop movies and check the focus of your shot. Intelligent features such as Smart Auto, with Scene Detection Technology, analyses your composition and determines the most ideal settings from its preset range of 22 scenes. Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor makes the Digital IXUS 200 IS more responsive and ensures great image-quality. The Canon IXUS 200 IS can also create widescreen (16:9) movies in high definition (1280x720, 30fps), then use the mini HDMI connection for playback on HD TVs.
